What’s trending: Coffee with a Honey Twist 


In the ever-evolving landscape of culinary trends, where social media holds sway, one trend recently broke the internet and redefined our coffee rituals, the “Whipped Coffee” sensation. Why not take it a step further and infuse it with a HONEY twist, just in time for Rosh Hashanah? Representing the hope for the sweet year ahead.

Whipped coffee is a South Korean way to make coffee that became viral through TikTok during Covid - quarantine period. It even got the nickname: “The Quarantine Coffee” where TikTokers use dance challenges and cozy indoor moments with their coffee cups.

How to whip it up? The process is super simple! Take these 3 ingredients and stir them super quickly - instant coffee, sugar, and hot water.  Once it becomes thick just pour it on top of the milk.  You can use hot milk for a hot coffee or cold milk for an iced version.  Add a straw and savor the creamy delight!

GCI’s team has a fresh version in honor of the New Jewish Year “The whipped coffee with a honey twist”! Instead of using sugar, replace with some good quality honey. Make it as sweet as you like your year to be, and stir. Quickly.

Fun fact

Whipped coffee has a surprisingly long shelf life in the refrigerator! 

By the way, this trend has different variations. You can make matcha-whipped coffee, or pumpkin-whipped coffee for a twist as unique as the holiday itself. So, try it out and send us some pictures if it goes well (we trust it will be a smashing Rosh Hashanah hit).
