Building Forward: Progress Amidst Challenges and Hope for 5785

As the holidays come to an end and we step into the new year with fresh energy, we find ourselves reflecting on the resilience and determination that define our journey. The war continues, and we are all hoping and praying for its swift end. Despite the challenges, the strength and dedication of our team and community remain unshaken.

This week is the much-anticipated JNF Golbal Conference, and with it, a renewed sense of purpose and momentum. With a new year comes new energy, and I can already sense that 5785 and soon 2025 will be impactful, filled with growth and transformation for the Galilee Culinary Institute (GCI).

One of the most remarkable aspects of our journey has been the relentless progress of our construction. Not a single day has gone by without significant movement forward. Amid the backdrop of an intense and ongoing conflict, this unwavering commitment is nothing short of extraordinary. I want to take a moment to recognize and express my deepest gratitude to Alon and the entire team for their tireless work. Your efforts are commendable, and your dedication is what propels us toward realizing our vision.

The farm is also making great strides, thanks to our partnership with Migal, and our collaboration with Tel Hai on the student side is advancing beautifully. These partnerships are integral to shaping GCI into a hub of innovation, sustainability, and educational excellence.

As we look ahead to a bright 5785 and the upcoming year 2025, I am filled with hope and excitement for what lies ahead. The challenges we face only strengthen our resolve to push forward, to build something truly transformative for the Galilee, and to inspire the next generation of culinary leaders.

Thank you for your continued support and belief in our mission. Together, we are building a future filled with promise and possibility.

Wishing you all a productive and peaceful month ahead.

L’chaim!
